A request to Authority

To
The Director of Accounts (P)
Cuttack

Sub:  Absentees statement via email.

Sir,
Respectfully I beg to submit the following lines for your consideration.

With reference to you letter no DA-PA/Disc/Eff  dated 17/5/2013  very humbly I am to say that the act of sharing the confidential and sensitive documents such as Attendance Register of employees via email, no doubt, invades the  right to have official secretes and is wide open for public scrutiny, if once data go to public domain.  As a result, leakage of information is certainly inevitable and the future of employee is in jeopardy. I hope your good self would consider sympathetically withdrawing the order for the betterment of our staff.

Yours faithfully

( Bibhudutta Senapaty)
(Circle Secretary)

Biennial Election on 26-6-2013

As decided, Biennial election of AIPAEA,, odisha Circle  Cuttack on 26/6/2013

Shri Satyabrat Das, AAO is  appointed as  RETURNING Officer
and Shri R Krishna Kumar, Sr Accountant as Auditor.

Bare Truth: Adhoc AAOs

An AAO is in the middle rung of our office. He is not senior enough to be followed implicitly.  He has to maintain order and progress. Yet he can be unseated or his tenure may not extended( in case of Adhoc) .  He has to toady to his seniors and very fearful to his subordinates.  He faces challenges from above and below.  They are getting hit from both sides, He has been sandwiched between Boss's expectation and subordinates' negation.  Poor AAOs' rich experiences,
If tenure of Adhoc AAOs  extended in time a lot of working could have saved. An Adhoc AAO when reverted, he does nor work as  an SA  because of his inferiority feelings.
Hats off to AAOs for their patience!

," DARA KAHAKU, BHAYA KAHAKU, THHAKUR ACHHANTI CHARI BAHUKU."

Negation is the most positive action.  We people easily  surrender before Authority without slightest provocation because  we want to secure, to belong, to be attached to, to depend.

What for?

Remove the mental conditioning.  Believe that resistance is the highest morality.  Nature provides moral strength when you face the challenge without thinking  the consequences.

Shame ! Shame !! Shame !!!

It is hard to comprehend why our administration is constantly creating a conflicting situation going beyond its administrative jurisdiction.  Honestly speaking, we don’t have a crisis at all, but administration is generating one by looking constantly at negatives.  In fact, office is not a place where an administrator can prove his mettle by harassing employees through the sheer ignorance of Rule of Law.

Official Secrets are not supposed to  be shared through private e-mails. Legally speaking, this sort of actions violates the Conduct Rules; infringes the IT Act and Official Secrets Acts.  Prudence of Administration can be proved and acknowledged when it refrains from sharing official secrets through private     e-mails.

Kudos!

Best wishes   to ABHIPSHA daughter of Krushna Prasad Verma for her ICSE X result...93.,,%

MODERNIZATION & COMPUTERIZATION IN POs - NEWS

Under IT Modernization Project-2012, Branch Post Offices located in rural areas would be made high-tech and netbooks and hand-held devices would be provided to these offices. Not only this, branch post offices would get mobile thermal printer, smartcard reader, finger-print scanner, digital camera etc for signature/ document scanning and making transactions. Very soon Post offices would be linked under core banking solution, which would bring revolutionary changes in banking at rural level.
After implementation of CBS, customers of post offices would be able to avail services like net banking, mobile banking and ATMs. Regular monitoring of postal services is being undertaken under the 'Project Arrow', and the overall outlook of post offices was being changed under 'look and feel' scheme. Our own comrade Rabindra Kumar Mallick  says that

"" Some of our comrades become passive when it comes to owning responsibilities and active while asserting their rights"

History shows that once working class get really desperate, it can create a situation of desperation for the people in power.  A country can grow and prosper while giving enough space to the working class.

Mgnrega Payment Through Post Offices

State Governments have entrusted post offices to disburse wages to workers under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). Such disbursal of wages is done either through worker’s wage accounts or Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) accounts. On receipt of the wage list and funds from the State Government, the post offices credit the amount to the worker’s accounts. Workers withdraw the amount from the accounts at their convenience.

Department of Posts has rolled out Electronic Fund Management System (eFMS) in 46 pilot districts of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) through post offices enabling electronic credit of wages in worker’s accounts for speedy disbursal of wages to workers.

This information was given by Dr. (Smt.) Killi Kruparani, Minister of State for C&IT in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
